We are alive!

Paul & I decorated our own 4th of July shirts this year, Becks said- "Our Little Firecracker" Snot bubbles! :) hahaha... me trying to be creative! Man oh Man its been a busy, fun, eventful, memorable summer!! We moved to Tyler, TX for half the summer & now reside in Little Rock, AR. We have loved both places & have so enjoyed this opportunity!! Paul is doing awesome with his sells, he has big goals this summer & has done so well at hitting them, he just broke 100 sells yesterday, can I just say how PROUD I am of him! Thats lots of hard work! Beck boy is now 8 months old! WHAT! That is just to crazy, he is growing & developing so quickly. He sits up completely on his own now, scoots EVERYWHERE and is so fast at it! He stands up holding onto the couch or someones hand, he smiles & coos all the time & has just been the best baby! He is starting to bounce to music & play games, he loves being sung to & read to. He likes Baby Einstein, swimming, and spending time with Mom & Dad. We have done alot of swimming and he just kicks his legs and splashes. His fun personality is really starting to show! We love having him in our home! As for myself, well im pretty darn lucky to be able to be a stay at home mom, I love filling my days with hugs & kisses, and learning new mommy tricks. I have so enjoyed this whole experience of mommy hood, I couldn't ask for a better baby! We are so blessed & see the Lords hand in our life daily. We are happy, we are in love, and we are enjoying the journey!

Beck 6 Month Pictures

Beck is now 8 months old, we got these done when he was 6. Isn't he SO handsome? We think so! :) He is such a {Happy} {Smiley} baby!! He makes us happy! XOXO

Last night Paul & I were looking at his baby pictures, we think Beck looks alot like him :D his smile is the same, hair color.. Its the eyes that throw me off though, Beck doesn't have Paul's eyes.

Valentines Day

We had fun Valentines plans to go Hot Air Ballooning but after we found out our hot air balloon ride wasn't going to happen due to some complications with the company which was a huge bummer ! We came back home made a delicious pancake breakfast, took naps, went & played at freestone park, had a delicious dinner at Outback & finished the night off at my parents house watching the Bachelor. haha This is the first time we have ever gotten into watching it but the last 2 episodes we have watched have been pretty entertaining. Needless to say the day didnt go quite as we had planned but thats ok because we at least got to spend the entire day together just the 3 of us! :)

Just try to never grow up!

Beck is now almost 2 months WHAT we seriously can not believe it, our baby is getting so big! sniff sniff! :( It has been so much fun watching him develop so much already. He is staying awake a little bit more, SMILES & gets excited when daddy & mommy talk to him & play with him. He is starting to laugh, and talk to us quite a bit. SO sweet! He is a starer, he loves to look at lights & just sits there staring at an object for a long time. Big time observer. Its fun to watch him sit there in his swing or while he is laying down & just watch him look around so interested. It is exciting to see his growth, development, & a little bit of his personality come out, but it is also so sad. Mixed feelings for sure. Yes it will be fun when he can run around & play

with us & to see him at all the different stages.

Yes he will always be my baby but I still dont want him to grow up & get big! He has beautiful blue eyes, who knows he might stay my blue eyed baby they have been blue for a long time now. :) We are SO thankful to have this sweet sweet baby boy in our forever family! He is mommy's best little buddy & daddy's favorite little man. Yes we are pretty much already fully & completely wrapped around his little fingers & guess what... we LOVE it!!

One night after Paul's softball games Beck was wearing a sweater with a hood well when we got home & pulled up the cover of his carseat this is what we found... poor boy im sure that wasn't too comfortable. LOVE LOVE LOVE a naked baby! Ok so lately when ever he wants to be picked up or is about to cry he sticks his bottom lip out BIG TIME this picture doesn't even do it justice but it is the sweetest thing! He sure knows how to get me to pick him up! hahaha Yeah I think the flash scared him just a bit :D This is how he fell asleep one night after daddy changed his diaper. out cold! His hands... he always falls asleep holding his hands in such funny ways. up above his head. one arm up & the other down. sticking out. Such a funny boy! :) He LOVES his baths.. well until he has to get out & get cold but who really likes that part! haha! I love how his lips are pushed out & it looks like he is pointing to the words on his shirt like "Yeah thats right!" Shirt- ITS ALL ABOUT ME! which yes tis true. :) Tummy time he enjoys it MOST of the time & has fallen asleep like that a couple of times. Chillin in his swing First time to church, yeah his outfit was a little too big. :)

Rockin' R Ranch

So my hubby is beyond amazing. Yes I just wanted to start of by stating that. He planned it & took me out on our first date after Beck was born it was fun, exciting, relaxing, & great to be able to just focus on each other for awhile. "Rockin' R Ranch" baby it was a lot of fun!

First week home

Where has the time gone? I can't believe our baby is already a week old :( I cry every time I think of how fast he is growing up & how much he is developing & changing on me. I mostly cry because no matter how bad I want time to slow down it wont, but im not just talking about with this sweet little guy but in all aspects of life its just life is constantly changing. Its a beautiful but hard thing. This special Little Man has had a busy first week of life, drs visits, nursing, sleeping, smiling, pooping like crazy :) We recognize how truly blessed we are- this little guy is such a GREAT baby! Here are some of his accomplishments:

* Right from day 1 he has known how to nurse & gets it every time pretty quick, he is a great eater a little tuff to keep awake sometimes but thats ok it just gives me another excuse to just kiss & love on him to wake him up :)

*Monday- He started smiling in his sleep at us, he makes the funniest faces when he is asleep. He frowns all sad & then gets this huge smile on his face immediately after... I often wonder what he is dreaming about.

*Wednesday- (The day he was supposed to be born-due date) He got new born pictures taken by his auntie Rachel. He also lost his umbilical cord this day.

*Thursday- He started smiling at us while he is awake & is such a smiley baby!! oh how I LOVE it!!

* He also went to the dr Thursday here are his stats:

Height 20 inches Percentile 50% (He has long feet & hands, I think that comes from the Johnsons :)

Weight 6lbs 12 ounces Percentile 10-25% (She kept calling him a little peanut)

(When we left the hospital sunday he had dropped to 6lbs 8 ounces, so it was good to see he was gaining weight & back up to his birth weight again.)

*Beck sleeps pretty much all through the night he only wakes up 1 or 2 times to eat & then goes right back to sleep when its time.

He is such a sweet, content, happy, loving, tiny baby!!! We are so thankful he is in our home, he has blessed our life's forever!!! He is my best little buddy!! WE LOVE YOU BECK BOY!!!
