{CHEAP} date night

Last week Paul & I went on a date, well we all know that its usually not very cheap if you want to go out and do something {FUN}.... Well we had SO very much fun and we didn't even have to spend any money!. We went out to a beautiful lake called Morrison Ranch, Paul took his fishing pole that he had recieved from Clayton for Christmas, we took our own dinner and headed out there. It was so relaxing, and we got there just in time to watch a beautiful sunset. I love fishing its so relaxing, just stick the line in the water and {SIT} ha not a whole lot to it. So we ended up eating dinner, relaxing, cuddling, and playing our way fun new game we just bought, its called Ticket to Ride!.

1st Christmas!!

This was Paul & I's first Christmas together! I must say we have truly been so spoiled and blessed. We spent it up in Snowflake with the Johnsons and got to spend almost a whole week there! Christmas eve we had a wonderful family program and everyone showed off their talents as some sang, danced, or told stories. It was alot of fun! we then opened one present which was pj's, after that we all piled into Joe's truck piled on the blankets and went around town looking at all the beautiful Christmas lights! Christmas morning Paul was to excited to sleep and woke all of us up at 6, we each took a turn openening presents and admiring each others presents. Thank you to the Johnsons for a fabulous 1st Christmas! We love you guys!! On Christmas day Paul & I also got to go to Heber to visit my family who had gone up to celebrate Christmas up in the snow. I was so thankful that they had done so, so that I was able to see my family as well!. They also spoiled us more than we deserved. Thank you Family we love you! Christmas is the best holiday, I love the nativity's and the Temple lights, they are so beautiful! I love the feeling that comes through out all of the month of Decemeber! If only it would stay that way all year long!. I love my Savior, he is the reason for the season!

Reidhead Family Pictures

Kate Lines took our family pictures, and I think they turned out quite beautiful! Thanks Kate

LIFE

1st off I want to say HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY HUBBY DEAR! I got up early to make him some breakfast before we both left for work, then came his presents, which you can tell he was very excited to open :) He got a nice jacket, a shirt, and the one he was most excited for was a snowboarding trip to any where he wanted! Also on Sunday my mom made him dinner whatever he wanted- he chose Fried Chicken, it was Delicious!.. Here are SOME of the things I love about this man- *Hard worker *Provider *AMAZING husband *Unselfish *LOVING *Patient *Teacher I know that when we do have children, Paul is going to be such a great dad! I look forward to that day when we do get to experince parenthood together. He is so strong in the gospel and has a special spirit about him. Our home is a happier place because of him! I love you babe! Hope you had a great birthday!
2nd I want to say HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOTHER DEAR!-
Here are only but a few things I love about her-
*Unselfish, always puts others before herself
*Giving
*Loving
*Great teacher
*Very knowledgable
*Best friend (besides my hubby ;)
*FUN
*Patient
*BEST mother in the world
and the list could go on forever, but I really just want her to know how much she means to me, and how thankful I am for her in my life! She is a great example, and I hope that someday when I am a mother I can be like her. She is strong in the gospel, and I know that is very important to her, she has taught me and my brothers and sister the importance of the gospel and its teachings. She is ALWAYS there for me, even when she is busy she will drop everything just to make me and our family happy. Thank you for everything MOM! your amazing, I LOVE you!!
It was so much fun, and all my aunts and even some that live up north were down so all of us girls went out to dinner to celebrater her birthday! And then on Sunday our family got together and made her dinner. Hope you had a great birthday day mother dear!

Pjs homemade frame!

Paul & I got a big beautiful picture of Christ with a gift certificate to Shavels (not sure how to spell it!?) as one of our wedding gifts.. well we searched for a couple days for frames that would be big enough, but come to find out they were all really EXPENSIVE! ha figures. So Paul being the handy man he is, and never had made a frame before decided he would give it a try! He helped the Home Depot man cut the wood, shaved it, glued it all together, and even painted the whole thing! Man, was I IMPRESSED! not that I didn't think he could do it, but he really did do such a great job on it! I love it! He of course being the maker sees things he would like to change, and critisizes his work, but heck for never making a frame before it looks great! Thanks sweetheart!

More & more camping...

Thanksgiving

So sadly I didn't get very many pictures of Thanksgiving, because I was a slacker and forgot to take my camera places! :( But luckily we were able to get just a few fun ones. My big brother Clayton, Paul & I all went on four-wheeler rides till like midnight. Boy was it freezing! As you can tell we piled layers on, we looked like goofers, but we didn't mind :)
